THE AUTHOR
Eric Deters co-authored with Pat Crowley a book called “Saving Grace.” It is a
true story of Sarah Brady, a young mother who while nine months pregnant, fought
off and killed an assailant intending to murder Sarah and steal Sarah’s baby from her
womb. The book was published and released nationwide in 2006. Sarah and the
book appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Greta Van Sustern, The Today Show,
The Montel Williams Show and Inside Edition. The story also appeared in national
and international publications, including the National Enquirer.
Eric also released in 2006 is a book called “Pioneer Spirit.” A solo project, this
book chronicles a high school basketball team’s success from the time they first played
in grade school, through a gas explosion at their high school their senior year to
Kentucky’s high school championship. A screenplay has been written and a movie
producer is reviewing.
Eric is currently writing three solo projects. One is about the challenges of
practicing law. One is about his younger brother Seth who has lived a full life
with cerebral palsy. The other is Bill "Willie" Cunningham's Biography.
With Pat Crowley, he is writing a book about a reserve soldier who went to Iraq
by mistake and another about a police detective’s involvement in a true crime/murder/
trial story.
Eric writes late at night, early morning and on weekends after the legal work is
complete. Eric is always available to sign a copy of his book.
